Abstrak
Мақолада Бирлашган Миллатлар Ташкилотининг ФАО бўлими томонидан ишлаб чиқилган жаҳон тупроқ ресурслари таснифининг асосий мақсади, тузилган 32 та тупроқ гуруҳи ва таснифи келтирилган. Бундан асосий мақсад бутун дунё тупроқшунослари билан ҳамкорликда халқаро тупроқшунослик фанлари иттифоқини ривожлантириш мақсадида жаҳон стандартларига мос равишда тупроқларни номланишини йўлга қўйиш ва бошқа таснифдаги тупроқларни ушбу таснифга киритишда соддалаштирилган қўлланмадаги кўрсаткичлар таҳлил қилинган ва унинг зарурияти таъкидланган.
