QORAQALPOG‘ISTON RESPUBLIKASI NUKUS TUMANI SUG‘ORILADIGAN TUPROQLARINING ZAMONAVIY EKOLOGIK-MELIORATIV HOLATI

Abstract

The article presents the results of research conducted to study the ecological and meliorative condition of soils in the “Halophyte Garden” area of the “Qattiağar” massif, Nukus district, Republic of Karakalpakstan. During the research, soil profiles were established in the study fields using generally accepted methods in soil science, and soil, groundwater (seepage), and drainage water samples were collected for analysis based on standard procedures. Under laboratory conditions, the degree of soil salinity, chemical composition, and the content of anions and cations, as well as the mineralization level of groundwater and drainage water, were determined. According to the results obtained, the soils were found to be saline to varying degrees and types, and their hypothetical compositions were identified based on quantitative indicators of anions and cations. In addition, the quantitative indicators of toxic and non-toxic salts in the soil composition, as well as the proportion of toxic salts within the total water-soluble salts, were determined. The results of water analysis also revealed slight differences between drainage water and groundwater. This situation highlights the need for a more in-depth scientific study of the composition of water flowing through drainage systems.
