Abstract
This article examines the current state of soil salinization and the characteristics of its formation in irrigated lands of Jondor district, Bukhara region. During the study, based on chemical analyses of soil samples, the content of water-soluble salts, the degree of salinity, and their qualitative composition were determined. The results showed that the soils of the study area are mainly characterized by chloride-sulfate and sulfate types of salinity. According to the degree of salinization, the soils are predominantly classified as slightly, moderately, strongly, and very strongly saline.
