Abstract

The article presents research findings on the bioaccumulation of zinc (Zn) in the vegetative and generative organs of the rice plant. It was determined that in soil variants contaminated with Zn from a complex of rare-earth metals (MPC) at levels five times higher than the norm, the grain of the Alanga variety accumulated 58.62 mg/kg of Zn, while the grain of the Laser variety accumulated 69.65 mg/kg. It was also established that only the Laser variety assimilated the same amount of Zn in its grain part during both vegetation periods..
